- Donate in-store:
Between 18 May and 6 June 2023, visit your local Clicks store and donate a pack of Always pads in the designated bins. For every pack you donate, Always will match your contribution with an additional pack. Likewise, between 20 June and 20 August 2023, you can visit Dis-Chem and participate in the same initiative. By simply donating a pack of Always, you can provide essential sanitary products to girls in need.
- Buy your usual Always:
Continue supporting the cause by purchasing your usual Always pads from your favorite retailer. For every pack you buy, Always will ensure that a girl in need receives a pad. By incorporating this simple act into your regular shopping routine, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of these young girls.
- Donate cash:
If you prefer to contribute financially, you have the option to donate any amount, big or small, towards sanitary products. Your donation will go directly towards providing pads to girls facing period poverty. Always Africa’s “Always Keeping Girls in School” program has been empowering girls since 2006. Over 400,000 girls in Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa have already received over 50 million Always pads through this initiative. The program not only provides sanitary pads but also offers puberty education, reducing stigma and building confidence in young girls.
Additionally, vulnerable girls receive an annual supply of pads and participate in a tailored 12-module program designed to meet their specific needs. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure that girls can continue their education with confidence, despite the challenges posed by menstruation.
